What are cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are the primary compounds produced by the cannabis plant; As of the publication of this brochure, there are 113 cannabinoids that have been identified, each with different properties and herbal effects.

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most well-known cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant and is the ONLY psychoactive cannabinoid. There are many other cannabinoids that are beneficial such as CBD, CBN, CBG, and terpenes.

What is Cannabidiol (CBD)?

Cannabidiol is one of the dozens of non-psychoactive cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. Our products have Cannabidiol (CBD), which is the main non-psychoactive cannabinoid that binds to the receptors in your immune system, thus providing a variety of medicinal benefits. CBD was originally patented by the United States Government in 2003 as a neuroprotectant and antioxidant.

Our CBD products interact with the CB receptors which send signals to wake up and strengthen the immune system naturally. The boost to your immune system can help the body fight off bad cells that are weakening good cells.

How does Cannabidiol work?

In the last 20 years, a natural cannabinoid receptor system has been discovered in the human body, the endocannabinoid system. It is by binding to these receptors that cannabinoids produce their pharmacological effects. There are at least two types of cannabinoid receptors in humans: CB1 and CB2.

CB1 receptors are present in the brain and spinal cord and in certain peripheral tissues, while CB2 receptors are found primarily in the immune system.

What does “Milligrams” of CBD mean?

CBD is measured in milligrams for quantitative purposes. Research is showing that about 5-10mg daily is a good intake of CBD to activate your CBD receptors. If someone is suffering from a more serious illness, then 20-40 mg is recommended, but we are not doctors, so you will have to experiment with what works best for you.

All of our products vary in the potency of CBD by the milligram (mg), but that does not mean that the highest strengths will be the only products that will work for you. Everyone is different, however, we have heard the most positive feedback on our higher concentrations.

How to understand how much CBD is in each product?

CBD is measured by TOTAL MG of CBD divided by the volume of content in each bottle or unit.

For example: 1000 MG, 30 ML CBD OIL

1000MG/30 ML = Estimated ration of 33.3 MG PER 1 ML of CBD OIL immune system.
